Former investment banker, now a solo options investor who trades his own portfolio in public and writes down what he does.

Who writes this

I spent my banking years in M&A and equity capital markets in London and on Wall Street. Since then I have traded options for a living from my own account, a family and friends book, with every entry and exit published as it happens. Most of my results come from selling options that the crowd has priced for fear or greed and buying them back once the mood settles. That mispricing keeps coming back because nobody can arbitrage human nature.

I write in English and German. Juri is the German spelling, Yuri the English one, and you will meet both online. Same person, same portfolio.

What The Desk is for

Every Tuesday I publish one real options trade in the Tuesday Target letter, with entry, stop and target named. The Desk carries my write-up of each issue: the thesis, why it matters, what to watch. The trade itself stays in the letter. Every Wednesday I run a live session on the portfolio for the Elite Trader group, and one free lesson a week from those calls lands here as well.

Everything I publish runs under the name MacroDozer | Juri von Randow, on Substack, YouTube, LinkedIn, Upwork and X, and all of it leads back to macrodozer.com.

Track record

The portfolio has been public since January 2024, after every commission and fee, on my own tastytrade account. The current numbers, the drawdowns included, sit on the Track Record page.
